Cheese Menu
Our chef has selected some of the most flavoursome Cumbrian cheeses produced using natural, local single Herd raw milk made at Thornby Moor Dairy. They Developed recipes that are best suited to our climate, to capture the essence of Cumbria in the flavours of their cheese. The dairy can be found in the old piggery among the remaining out-buildings of Crofton Hall which include a grand coach house and a stable block.

A rich, smooth bodied Ewe's milk cheese with a natural rind which lends a contrasting rutty texture and finish
Tovey
A semi-soft, naturally mould ripened goat's cheese with plenty of flavour
